Cooper Antennas Ltd has received a major contract from a leading European Avionics manufacturer for ILS Localiser and Glideslope antennas for use on supersonic fighter aircraft.

The antennas, Part No. 21-20-85, consists of two high strength blades for fitment on each side of the vertical stabiliser, connected via a special feeder cable and diplexer. As such, the antenna system, which operates at 108-118 and 328-336 MHz is ideal for retrofit applications.
